I recently purchased my home, and Shawn was very respectable and understanding when it came to my budget and transparent when it came to urgent repairs and recommendations. Every company will want you to have them install a new system with them, but Spot On has a great monthly maintenance plan where they will try their best to keep your current unit up and running - which was Shawn top priority when I called him up. My thermostat broke during the job - which Shawn graciously offered to help me install if I was able to grab a new one. My kitchen drain line needed a clean out and I had been delaying it for awhile. I saw a flyer from Spot On with specials, including a kitchen drain line clean. I thought it was a good deal so why not jump on it and try Spot On. Their technology is great, giving me notifications on when the technician would be here and I could track him. Levi arrived on time and was very friendly. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional and after I explained what I was looking for he said he would take care of it. He got right to work and did an excellent job. He showed me certain things and helped me understand some others. Even gave me some advice to help out the drain. There were no hidden fees or costs of any kind, just honest hard work. I really appreciated the transparency and would absolutely recommend them to anyone because I would use them again.

Spot On has been spot on. Just moved into our home in Whittier, and SO has already been called twice. Bottom line, no one has looked at your water heater or hvac system in a long time…and they need to.Communication…fantastic. From Joyce the dispatcher, to the text and email updates with tech locations, and digital access to estimates…couldn’t ask for more. They make it easy to communicate.Professionalism…fantastic. All the vans, gear and uniforms are branded, making it feel very cohesive. Techs are extremely knowledgeable, safe, clean and walked me through everything, including their personal opinions which means a lot.Results…fantastic. Both preventative visits ended in cleanings with recommendations for future work. I signed up for the monthly fee/membership after the first visit and it’s already paying dividends.Our first call was for a water heater that wouldn’t turn on. Levi came out, set me straight within minutes. He completed a full inspection and then provided a three tiered estimate from priority/affordable solution up to a complete replacement.Our second call was a follow up scheduled by Levi as part of the membership…an hvac inspection.Shawn arrived, and dove right into the existing system, removing pieces for inspection, cleaning away decades of dirt and bug carcasses, and talking me through the whole process. What I thought would be a half hour…shine a flashlight around and blow on some connections…turned into a three hour detailed cleaning and inspection.No one had maintained our system since it was installed however many years ago. Wires were hanging on for dear life, drainage holes were blocked, and duct was leaking all over. Not great, but functional.Shawn documented, cleaned everything, and walked me through another three tiered estimate, itemizing priorities and showing me photos of finished installations.SO doesn’t dance around issues or send the B-Team. They give it to you honestly and with transparency which is what you need to make these massive decisions.I haven’t pulled the trigger on major upgrades yet, but the process up to this point has been incredible.This is the level of service I’ve been looking for. I look forward to updating this review after proceeding with some work.

Antonio was thorough in his assessment of the heating repair job. He gave me information about my heating system that the first two technicians did not. There were 2 other technicians from other companies in my house before him that never mentioned that my ducts were made of asbestos. This is highly important information to me as I have been diagnosed with cancer from exposure to asbestos. Antonio also took my system apart and actually showed me what needed to be replaced and why. Taylor came by to inspect our system when we had some trouble with the AC not keeping up with the heat in a house we bought recently. I know next to nothing about AC systems, but Taylor was able to walk me through how our system was set up and several potential problems with how things were running, complete with hand-drawn diagrams. I had a concern about changing the temperature range. After he finished with his tests, he went through steps on how to change my preferences on the thermostat. He went the extra muke by asking me to do it myself in front of him so I wouldn’t forget…wow! So patient and caring.Spot On personnel department has hired another terrific technician. When I placed a service call to install a nest thermostat, I was advised to return it and had to buy the nest thermostat from company directly so I did. Unfortunately when tech arrived, no nest thermostat. Maintenance on AC system was provided and tech was awesome but the whole reason I called was to get a nest thermostat. All in all great service but lack of communication from booking agent to tech is the only reason I gave them a 4 star. Gonna go back to HomeDepot and get nest thermostat again and just install myself.

Juan and Antonio from Spot On did a fantastic on my A/C . First of all, they texted an ETA and we’re actually early. Then they masked up and put booties on when entering the house. They followed up by doing a full cleaning of the a/c unit, the compressor, coils and the fan motor. They kept me informed during the whole process showing before and after pictures, as well as, volt readings from the various components . Finally, they went into the attic and checked the furnace blower/motor and filter. They followed up with a comprehensive overview of all work, along with some recommendations. Once again, Juan and Antonio with Spot On did just a terrific job and I will highly recommend them to everybody

Juan arrived within the 2 hr. window, wearing a mask, and using protective booties within our home. He pointed out the issues with our air conditioning unit. I was looking for a 5 zone mini split system.
